Founded in 2015 by twin sisters Lakiesha and Natisha Claxton, Nouveau Royale began as a passionate dance group of just nine members. What started as a small team with big dreams soon grew into a family of dancers, united by artistry, discipline, and love for the craft. Over the years, that passion has blossomed into the thriving dance school we are today, carrying forward the same energy and vision that sparked our journey.

Performance Ensemble
$100/month
Performance Ensemble is the heart of our program. Students come together to build essential skills in teamwork, stage presence, and ensemble artistry while preparing choreography for concerts and showcases.

In addition to our main studio performances, students may also volunteer for extra performance opportunities throughout the year, giving them more chances to share their talent with the community.
Ballet
$75/month
Ballet is the foundation of all dance. Students will develop grace, posture, strength, and discipline while learning classical ballet technique. This class supports performance quality across every style.
MANDATORY
Flexibility & Contortion
$55/month
This class focuses on safely increasing flexibility, balance, and body control. Students will work on deep stretching techniques, controlled movements, and contortion skills in a structured environment.
Acrobatics / Tumbling Programme
$75/month
Our Acrobatics/Tumbling Programme is a structured and progressive training pathway designed to develop strength, flexibility, agility, and performance artistry. Students begin with foundational skills such as rolls, handstands, and cartwheels, then progress safely into walkovers, aerials, and advanced tricks — all blended seamlessly with dance choreography.
Aerial Hoop
$80/month
Students train on a suspended hoop, developing strength, balance, and coordination. They will explore aerial techniques and creative sequences while building confidence and artistry in the air.
Aerial Silks
$80/month
Using fabric suspended from the ceiling, students learn climbs, wraps, drops, and poses.

Our Founders.
As co-founder of Nouveau Royale, Lakiesha balances her many roles as owner, director, choreographer, and instructor, while also overseeing the school’s creative vision and administration from her base in the United Kingdom. Since 2015, she has been instrumental in shaping the growth of Nouveau Royale, guiding both the artistry and operations of the school.
Lakiesha is certified in Ballet and Dance, and also holds a certification in Business Management, a combination that allows her to merge creativity with strong organizational leadership. Alongside her administrative role, she is also an active choreographer, contributing original routines and working closely with dancers to bring performances to life. She specializes in choreography, performance planning, and artistic direction, ensuring that every production reflects the school’s guiding motto: “Dance to Express, Not to Impress.” Her work allows students to refine their technique while embracing self-expression with confidence.

As co-founder of Nouveau Royale, Natisha leads the studio with passion, discipline, and a hands-on teaching approach. Since 2015, she has taken on multiple roles — owner, director, choreographer, and instructor — making her a cornerstone of the school’s success.

Natisha is certified in Acrobatics, Aerial Hoops, Aerial Silks, Ballet, and Tap, bringing a wide range of professional expertise to her students. She is celebrated for her innovative choreography and dynamic teaching style, which blend technical precision with creativity and expression. With her direct leadership in the studio, she embodies the school’s motto, “Dance to Express, Not to Impress,” inspiring dancers to grow as both artists and individuals.
